This workshop will provide an introduction to the area of risk assessment in children and adolescents, focussing on issues such as the complexities and challenges of assessing risk, when and how to ask about risk, and aspects of safety planning. This is about having a guide not a formula.
Pramila is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Practice Supervisor at the Kari Centre. She has been working in mental health both in New Zealand and in the UK for the past 16 years, both in adult and child and adolescent mental health settings. Pramila has a particular interest in working in diverse communities and with families and systems.
