Family Works Regional Conference 2017

Workshop Session: Turning Data into Information

by Sally Kennedy and Fatemeh Razzaghi, Service & Evaluation Team – Family Works Northern

When: 12:00PM – 1:00PM, Tuesday 18th July 2017 Room: President Suite 2

This workshop will look at currently available reports and how to use these to inform decision making processes and ensure the data we collect provides a robust platform for accurate and timely information to be extracted. It will include an open forum to discuss “what else do we need?” This will inform the planning of new reports as well as the review of current reports to provide a sound information base for FWN Managers, Team Leaders & Administrators

  • How is the data interpreted to provide information to facilitate decision making?
  • What information can be obtained from current system reports (and how to use this in excel)
  • How to get this information to FWN staff that do not have direct access to the reporting system
  • Open forum – What information do you need/want next
