Child Protection Policy

At Family Works we are committed to protecting children from risk of harm.

Our frontline staff are trained to:

• Identify concerns around a child’s safety and wellbeing.
• Ask the right questions in the right way to ascertain the facts.
• Using their professional judgement our staff determine any risk to a child.
• Contact their Line Manager or authorised FWN representative to decide what to do to inform the next steps that will help keep the child safe.
• Contact the appropriate agencies where there is serious concerns for a child’s safety and wellbeing’.
