Incredible Years is a free group programme for parents with tamariki (children) aged 3 to 8 years old, with useful information on how to handle various parenting challenges.
The programme covers topics like:
- helping your tamariki (children) learn through play
- understanding the development of your tamariki
- using praise and encouragement to motivate your tamariki
- setting clear limits and rules
- encouraging your tamariki to solve problems
- learn how to manage tantrums and various attitudes
Our next Waitakere programme starts on 31 August 2023:
When: Thursdays 9:30am – 12:00pm, 31st August – 14th December 2023 (with a break during school holidays from 28th of September – 5th October).
Where: St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 7 Tara Road, Henderson
Snacks and refreshments provided. Childcare available at sessions.
