Learn practical parenting skills for your school-age children that will help with everyday situations and concerns.
The Incredible Years is a FREE group programme for parents and caregivers with tamariki (children) aged 3 to 8 years.
Every week, you’ll learn ways to build positive relationships with your children and manage unwanted behaviours like tantrums, yelling, hitting and refusing to do what you ask.
The programme runs for 14 weeks with weekly sessions run by experienced specialist facilitators.
Parents and caregivers come together each week, talk through what has and has not worked, set goals and learn ways to achieve those goals during the following week.

The Whangārei course begins on Thursday 12 May and finishes Thursday 25 August 2022.
The weekly sessions run every Thursday (excluding the July school holidays) from 10:00 am to 12.00 pm.
It will be held at Family Works Northern, Genesis Centre, 16 Mair Street, Kensington, Whangārei.
